Jacob's Dream, painted by gloria poole 'gloriapoole' in oils, 48 inches wide by 60 inches tall, from the Bible record of Jacob dreaming about Angels going up and down ladder to heaven.
I entitled this painting above these words 'with native nakedness covered" because I saw a missionary's photo somewhere that had a similar image but the woman was nak-ed and I do not paint nudes! Ever! I did paint a South American woman with nothing on her shoulders but no part of her is shown but neck and top of shoulder [see that one below]. So I painted in clothes on her and adapted the image to my artistic "license'"as it is called. Painting by gloriapoole, @ Aurora Co 2007; oils as one of the ethnic paintings I am in process of , that consists at present of about 20 paintings [about 19 oils,1 acyrlics, few sketches also as preparation for painting image into oils.]
